Day Six of Blood Draws -- Getting the Right Tube for the Right Job!
Today the students were very busy! First there was the first major test, then a review of blood tests/tube colors, after which students were supposed to do capillary draws and then A/C blood draws choosing the right color tube for a randomized test requisition form! It's getting more and more like a clinic in the lab every day now! Pre-clinical students from the previous class were also trickling in toward the end, so it was a very busy two hours of lab! One student did his very first A/C draw today and then a capillary draw! (Good job Geno!) Here are some clips of the draws.
