Our last day of lab and theory was devoted to the second half of Johnny and Dot Bell's CPR class, which involved infant CPR. Here are some videos of that class. Good luck in clinicals everyone! Don't forget to stop by to visit or do blood draws!

Earth Day Potluck!!!! (Oh yeah, and the final too!)
The first few pictures in the slide show feature the students taking their finals, with the mouth-watering buffet in the middle of the room as their motivation, which was heightened by Simone when she helped herself to one of Kunthy's spring rolls! Good Job Everybody! It was great to meet your families and dinner was fantastic!
EIGHTH GRADERS!!!!! (April 20th)
We had a tour of eighth graders come through earlier this week and a group of students to show them what phlebotomy is all about. Here's a slide show of that day.
Enjoy!

Visit with John Quinn (April 15th)
John Quinn came to talk to the class about his journey to becoming an RN today. He had been an engineer and felt that he wanted to try healthcare and joined Simone's class as a way to "test the healthcare waters." He really enjoyed it and after completing his phlebotomy certificate, he went on to study nursing and Simone attended his pinning this spring! Good luck John!
