The pace was pretty quick once everyone realized that they needed to have two successful draws (one dorsal, one ETS) before they left for the day. I was also out preparing an extra credit exercise and did not capture all of the draws, but here are the ones that I did get.

0630 Blood Draws
We expanded our range of blood draws today, with Simone teaching dorsal draws (and some A/C) with the butterfly and capillary sticks. UA and blood smear practice continued as well.... and that was after we finished our first big test! Here are 32 assorted blood draws for your viewing pleasure!

0629 Blood Draws
We had a very enthusiastic group of phlebotomists in the lab today running UA, aliquoting samples into pour-off tubes, spinning hematocrits and making blood smears while perfecting A/C ETS draws and working on using winged infusion sets (butterflies). Here's how it played out....
