1008 Videos

Here are some of the draws that students did before class this morning. During the afternoon, we were visited by Neil's "guest patients" and things got so busy that I only got a few of those draws. Also, there's a rare two-part video of ME being drawn (thank you Lindsey!), since I'm usually on the other end of the camera. I guess I know how it feels now!

Slide Images from Megan's RNA Tube

Megan M. found and drew an "RNA" tube (dark blue top with a black ring in the top, says "shake vigorously after filling") yesterday and set up a slide from it. Today she examined the slide under the microscope and asked me to take pictures of it. This is what she found.... I suspect that it's a new life form, but Megan is going to try to track it down on the 'net!

Any guesses?

I filmed more than 30 draws today! It's going to be awhile before I get them all uploaded, but they will be added gradually between now and midnight tonight!

This was our last day of very-early-morning blood draws! Thanks everyone for pulling together and coming in! We have really maintained our momentum by continuing to draw each day before the CPR and 1st Aid. The rest of the week should seem easier by comparison!
