Day two of CPR and First Aid, so the students came between 7:00 and 8:00 (AM!) to practice their blood draws. Several silver stars and I think a gold star too were awarded today! The students are stepping into their own as phlebotomists and, as Simone predicted, students are stepping up their draws and actively pursuing "difficult draws."
Tomorrow, CPR/1st Aid is just half a day, so we will be drawing blood after lunch... Maybe we'll see a few lipemic specimens!
